Seeingthe stunningstage machineryin the old theatre of Ostra

The original structure of the theatre was embedded in the right-side wing of the Municipal Palace in 1863. The stage was rigorously made of pinewoodas dictated by Cortesi from Senigallia. The machine operator Vincenzo Ninifrom Senigallia, who lived in the theatre for six months, created a stage machine made up of seven wooden wheels that could be easily maneuveredfrom the ceiling. Today, this complex and fascinating machine is still functioning and open to the public.
